Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism
As an addition to my magazine collection and for content, I would rate this magazine four to five stars. However, the consideration of customer service lowers my rating to three stars. As a mental health practitioner who works with young children and who is also newly pregnant, I subscribe to a variety of parenting magazines, the best researched and written being, a this time, in my opinion, Cookie and Wondertime. I find the content of this magazine to compliment the contents of those, with the added focus of green and natural products and practices, (and related advertisements - each issue contains at least a handful of coupons for organic products, which I welcome and use). My concern with this magazine is that I ordered my subscription through Amazon, paying in full at the time of purchase, and I have received multiple bills since that time. I have returned each bill with a written statement and documentation, and I have attempted to contact the magazine, but both measures have proved fruitless. Additionally, after subscribing, I found several offers for free subscriptions, (one through joining their mothers' club, one by collecting labels on organic macaroni and cheese boxes from a brand I already buy, et cetera), so I wish I had not paid for this subscription initially, as having done so has only caused difficulty. The last bill they sent even included a message that if I did not pay the account would be sent to collections. Ridiculous. I recommend looking for a free offer for a subscription rather than paying for it, if possible.
